Mt. Everest 2013
Georgina successfully reached the summit in 2013 after a second attempt (2011). She is in the process of completing the Explorer Grand Slam, a feat which less than 60 people globally have completed. (less than 15 women) When Georgina started this personal challenge, she could barely run a mile in 2007.
Georgina currently calls Amsterdam and Los Angeles home, but considers herself a global citizen. Her life and commitments keep her on the move! Training her mind has always been as equally important as training her body. She regularly practices meditation and yoga, and is a certified reiki practitioner. She is a believer in daily mindfulness in how we live and interact with the world around us.
Georgina often says the biggest mountain she has ever climbed is not Everest, but rather starting her own business. In 2017, she completed the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's Milestone Makers Program. Here she is featured in Times Square April 2017 with her previous startup Altitude Seven, which merged with She Ventures in late 2017.

A few things about me….
Thank you for visiting! You can read my formal bio below. My personal journey through life has taught me the greatest adventure we take is the one inward.
I live my life by the motto above I came up with back in 2007. All the big leaps in my life whether professional, personal, or in the world of adventure have been grounded in this belief. It is easy to set our limitations by the current realities we are living, but they are by no means our actual limit. Our human potential is endless, especially if we are able to tame our mind and tap into our inner nature. Meditation and a practice of mindfulness have helped solidify this belief, along with helping me gain another level of understanding and awareness that anything is possible. My adventure journey takes me from not being able to run a mile to scaling to the top of Mt. Everest twice along with many peaks around the word. My belief that we are all interconnected continues to inspire my activism around gender-based violence and climate change. While living from our full and highest potential is a wonderful thing, the question is how can we harness this for a greater good beyond ourselves.
Georgina is a social entrepreneur, adventurer, public speaker, consultant, coach, and activist combining over a decade of Corporate, Start-up, and Adventure experience. She is a social innovator working to accelerate gender equality globally and exploring new ways to unleash full human potential in life and business from a holistic mind, body, spirit approach. She's passionate about building healthier and more socially conscious entrepreneurial ecosystems that combine business and spirituality. The world is changing at a rapid pace and demanding more global and social consciousness in our approach to business and leadership.
She is the founder and CEO of She Ventures, a social enterprise accelerating gender equality globally with an event series, media platform, coaching and consultancy practice, and network. She’s on her way to completing the Explorer Grand Slam (8 Summits + 2 Poles). A feat which less than 15 women globally have completed. With just 3 expeditions remaining, she is soliciting sponsorships to complete the project. This project shares the voices and stories of women and places at risk. 1 in 3 women will experience gender-based violence in their lifetime. Arctic sea ice is melting at an alarming rate- 12% per decade.
Georgina has led and advised cross-functional teams and clients in Fortune 500 companies globally. She holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and is a graduate of the The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center Milestone Maker Program in San Francisco.
She firmly believes that women are the world's largest untapped resource and that given the proper resources and equal opportunities they can change the world. She’s on a mission to do her part to change this statistic.
Georgina credits the mountains and a life of adventure to shaping who she is today. She is passionate about sharing the gift of adventure, mindfulness, wellness with others to unleash the power within and enjoy life a bit better.
Georgina is an avid mountaineer, skier, traveler, yogi, meditator, reiki practitioner, and overall adventurer.
As a Latina born in Los Angeles to Nicaraguan and El Salvadorian parents, she also believes in boosting diversity of women and minorities across all industries in leadership roles and beyond. She might be considered your unlikely adventurer, but she is proof that adventure is for everyone and that it changes lives. Adventure has been her confirmation of her life motto: The extraordinary is always possible, never limit yourself or life's potential.
