Georgina is a social entrepreneur and explorer. She is a globally sought after public speaker, consultant, leader in change, transformation, mindfulness, conscious leadership development and the advancement of women. A mountaineer athlete and activist igniting collective inspired-action to end violence against women and to promote the safekeeping of our planet. Georgina is in the process of becoming one of less than 20 women in the world to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam—climbing the highest peak on each continent and skiing to the last degree of the North and South Pole. 3 expeditions remain as the project shares the voices of women and places at risk.
She is the CEO & founder of She Ventures, a social enterprise unleashing the untapped power of women around the world. Georgina serves on the Board of Directors for 1% for the Planet and is an individual member as well.
Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, conscious leaders, and those called to shift mountains within themselves and the world around them. Georgina has worked in collaboration with clients on 6 continents, and explored all 7 continents in her adventures, bringing a global perspective to any work she does. Georgina is your unlikely mountaineer athlete.
When she set the goal to attempt the EXPLORER’S GRAND SLAM — reaching the highest peak on each continent and skiing the last degree to the North and South Pole— she couldn’t even run a mile. Less than 20 women worldwide have completed this challenge. Despite suffering from severe asthma, she climbed Mt. Everest twice, reaching the summit once, after surviving a hypoxia crisis at 8400m on her first attempt. She has gone on to climb, cycle, ski, run, dive, hike, bungee jump, sky dive, and generally explore on all 7 continents. A dream come true in many ways to become an explorer— with that equal responsibility to be an ambassador for the planet and be a bridge for people and nature to reconnect. We are one.
While the human body is incredible, more so is the mind when tamed and the heart when unleashed. The mountains Georgina has climbed both literately and figuratively inspire the work she does today and how she chooses to serve in this world.
She is dedicated to paving the way forward for other women like herself, a daughter of immigrants with Central American Indigenous Ancestry --knowing the challenges one must overcome. She wants women and girls to know anything is possible, no matter where you came from, or the obstacles in your way.
